In order to be effective at work in Sweden, professionals need a good command of spoken and written Swedish. This course will provide you with an introduction to Business Swedish and the language skills you need in order to feel confident and work effectively in professional situations.
This course will develop your business Swedish vocabulary and help you learn the right phrases for different situations. In addition, you will receive simple, useful advice on the use of rhetoric to make your communication style more direct and more results-oriented.

Coursefact
Non-Swedish professional people who have recently completed a short beginner’s Swedish course.
Eight half-days, 9.00-12.00. Arenavägen 61, Stockholm-Globen.
To provide the skills in Swedish necessary to:

| • | to talk about yourself and your responsibilities |
| • | to talk about daily work activities and what’s happening in the industry |
| • | to talk about different cultures and ways of working |
| • | write short simple e-mail. |
The course focuses on spoken language and provides you with plenty of practical exercises. Correct use of language is practised verbally for realistic work situations. You will receive writing assignments between lessons in order to practise and consolidate your new skills.
Level A2 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. You will find the scale here. Before the course you will do a needs analysis where you are interviewed on the telephone and asked to write a short text.
The course is an introduction to the next step which is Business Swedish level 2 and prepares the learner for the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce Certificate in Business Swedish.
